A great Italian Red

So, the other day I was talking to my friend. He likes to drink a lot of red wine. However, I didn't know he was so big on the Italian reds. He told me had tasted an '01 (Typo last time, for those who read it I apologize) Brunello from Castello Banfi and was delicious. Even though I've not tasted too many of the Brunello Super Tuscans, I decided to give this one a shot. I must say it was amazing and worth the price. Its rich tannins and full body gave it a complex stand with an endless palate. It definitely paired up well with my NY strip steak due to the intense marbling and flavor.
What an intense, and full-bodied day.
